Regular MobyMax tests check if a lesson was understood. Benchmark Tests measure overall grade-level proficiency against international standards — and a teacher provides comprehensive remedial work for any gaps identified.
The first round of remedial work typically takes 1-2 weeks if your child scored around 50%. This initial round often includes the most lessons as it addresses all identified gaps. Subsequent rounds are completed much faster — usually within 3-5 days — as the number of remedial lessons decreases with each Benchmark Test. By the third round, most children only need a handful of lessons to achieve mastery.
Benchmark Tests are exclusive to Silver, because they involve a real teacher's time and expertise. Bronze subscribers receive a weekly email showing which benchmarks are now due for their child — so you always know what you're missing — and can upgrade at any time to have a teacher run them.
